Michelle Obama delivered her second commencement address today, and it’s at another school that won her over by writing a letter to the White House, the local DC Fox station reports.
FLOTUS agreed to speak at Washington Mathematics Technology Charter School in northeast DC after a senior there wrote her a letter that said, “Where we come from, being a young minority means that we have little chance to succeed" because of stereotypes. "The world already has a pre-determined thought that our generation is full of criminals and concubines,” the letter from 19-year-old Jasmine Williams said.
